The Mission Sunday Food fest was held on the 11th Nov 2012, It was a fantastic and colourful event with people from various communities of the parish came together to contribute and generate funds for the Church's Mission. The fest began at 6am and went on till 3pm, with some delicious food being served for a reasonable price. The stalls were put by people from different communities within the parish (Mangalorean, Anglo-Indian, South Indian families who came in large numbers to encourage and participate in the event.

The youth had some interesting games conducted to keep the crowd entertained all along. It was a joyful and fun filled event which helped the Sacred Heart Parish to raise considerable amount in collection towards the Mission Sunday. The event brought all the different communities together under one banner as one parish community and showcased the unity and brotherhood among the parishnors.

Besides this the programme on the 11th of November also saw awareness initiatives for the following:

Pro life and prevention of abortion
Safe mother hood with highlights of nutrition to mother and child
Dengue prevention with awareness of signs and symptoms
Waste segregation at kitchen level with 3 dustbins (dry waste, wet waste and toxic waste)
